PREVAILED, APRIL, 2007 ...THE CONCLUSION TO: ON THE PATH TO LOSING MY LIFE TWO DIFFERENT WAYS...

Part Four:

The minister was a young man who was well dressed. He was impressionable. I am always impressed when I hear young people speak of God with great wisdom. I guess it's because when I was their age; I didn't have that interest or that knowledge.

His message was about Healing. He told of a lady whom he went to visit in the hospital who had suffered from varied ailments over a long period of time. He told us a statement that never left me. He said that when he asks a person how much time they spend in prayer, he can pretty much figure out why they are in the challenges that the find themselves in.

I was shocked. Mainly because I was in the challenge of my life and I had no prayer life.

Then he went on to march us through the Word of God to show us how God wants healing for all who can believe Him for it. He mentioned our ability to look in the concordance at the back of the bible, He said we could look up healing scriptures, recite them and meditate in them day and night. He explained that these scriptures would be like medicine to our bodies.

No one had EVER explained it to me like that before. Here I was, broke, disgusted and down for nothing. I had been about to lose my life physically and spiritually until I received a Word from God through this young minister.

I wanted to see him and to thank him but the line was too long. I left with my mind made up to put my escape plan in action.

When I came home, I told my husband: "I'M GOING TO LIVE! GOD SAYS SO"! Oh, this is true, I don't care if you don't believe it, everyone that knows me knows it is!


I began to recite the healing scriptures, to believe them to get them in my spirit, to trust in God, to move closer to Him and I began to pray more, to thank God and to give Him praise.


I received the gift of the Holy Spirit in my kitchen and six months later without much effort; I received the gift of speaking in tongues after I asked God for it.


However, I haven't told you of my miracle.

CONCLUSION:


I found a Chinese doctor who had some pills to shrink the tumor; he was in another country. I began to take them. I saw no noticeable difference. I'm not saying they did not work. I'm sure there are all sorts of reasons. I ended up with another doctor.

My new doctor assured me he could help me. However, I later found out that he had a team of pathologists who literally did all that they could to find cancer. It was because they really thought the tissue looked very suspicious. So after a two hour search and a blood transfusion on my; they reluctantly quit and sent the tissue out after removing some tumors from my body.

When I saw the doctor he couldn't stop saying how surprised he was that it wasn't cancer and that I was "lucky." I told him I don't believe in luck.

God healed me; but I did not call it quits. I work hard to minister to others about how God wants to heal them too if they'll just rise up and put on their faith clothes. Do you have your faith clothes on today? If not, put them on!

Part Three of "On the path to losing my life two different ways."

I began a search to look for another doctor. Through a strange chain of events, I got an appointment with a renown doctor at a well known hospital. I needed to hear that this was not cancer.

I was operating in all of the wisdom that I knew and my spirit. That's all I had; but it wasn't enough.

My tests came back that the condition from my last medical report did not exist. Unfortunately, I could not celebrate because some facts presented themselves that this report could not be trusted.

I eventually found two more doctors. One was another country!

However, the action that saved me was my trip to the bank. The day that I went to the bank was just an ordinary day for me. While standing in line; I had a Divine encounter with a saint of God.

I knew Adrian from my high school days and hadn't seen her in years. We didn't know each other that well, so we had mostly small talk at the bank. I didn't tell her of my condition, but something I said made her tell me about a Word teaching church nearby.

I flat out told her I was not interested in going because it was too big. She managed to convince me to go. She was confident it would help me and I believed it.

Sure enough that next Tuesday, I attended the church. On the way in, I said: "Lord, if this is where you want me to go, then this man needs to talk about Healing."


I got inside and something made me want to run out. Then, there was a calming presence that convinced me to stay. I anxiously waited for the young minister to begin to speak. His words would change my life.

BLESSINGS TO YOU TODAY MY FRIEND! I speak health, wholeness and Godly wisdom into your life today. I pray for angels to move out in front of you to prosper your way and for you to allow...you to allow God to order your steps. I want to tell you how I was on the path to losing my life in two ways; and God saved me! I pray that it will be a Blessing to you or someone that you know.



PART ONE

I was always very weight conscious, so I noticed that bulge in my stomach almost immediately. I was busy. I put it in the back of my mind; on a shelf. I had just gotten out of Graduate School and life was living me. I worked in my yard, attended to my affairs and before I noticed it; three months had went by. I looked at my stomach again and it was noticeably larger. Panic struck my whole being. I'll be honest; I didn't know much spiritually though I did talk to God. I had been turned off to churches not realizing that the BIGGEST LOSER in the end could be me. I'm sure that is why "discipleship" is so important to the Christian community. You can't just bring people to church, get them saved and forget about them. You have to check on them and let them know that you genuinely care about them and their walk with God!

My trip to the doctors wasn't good. He pushed and probed and referred me out. The second doctor immediately did an ultrasound. He pulled no punches for me that day. You have to have surgery is all he said. So we scheduled it.

In the meantime, God had sent a soldier to leave me a note about my spiritual life. It pricked me to the core, but though I decided to do nothing about it, God moved on with the plan.

This is my very first time being candid about this to an Online audience that exceeds hundreds of people, but I feel that it will Bless some people. To God be the Glory!,

PART TWO

It came to me at that time not being born again that I needed to put off the surgery I was being rushed into. I called the doctor and he got mad when I told him. His words cut me to the core: " You don't have time to get a second opinion." I told him nicely that I would anyway and that the surgery was cancelled. I was compelled to pull my hospital records. NEVER, I REPEAT NEVER go into the hospital for any test or stay without getting your records to "see" for yourself. My records revealed cancer and no one was ever going to tell me.


I researched the type and began the worst kind of prayer for me a prayer warrior: "REACTIONARY PRAYER." It is praying after something bad has happened when you had NEVER prayed before with any consistency. Surprisingly, I wasn't afraid. God is so merciful. The research showed it to be a rare challenging cancer with a low low survival rate. I told my husband and we generally talked about my funeral plans.
Needless to say...I felt pretty lousy about it all. I placed it all in the back of my mind on a shelf; again. I began the search for another doctor and a course to get closer to God. The days ahead would bring changes that I had never expected and I was dug in and ready for the journey. A fight was imminent and the question was: "Was I prepared for it in the very least? Satan had plans for me and at the time, I really didn’t even know if he was even real. Love, Sister Elaine


II Corinthians 4:4 says—

“In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.”

Of course, it is not the literal eyes that Satan is blinding, but the minds of the people. A blind mind is worse than being void of sight. You will never understand anything good anymore because your mind has been blinded.

MAN CONFESSES CHRIST MOMENTS BEFORE DEATH!

Hebrews 11:6 (KJV) But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.


THIS IS SERIOUS...
Eternity is a long time. Where will you spend yours?

I went to a "HOMEGOING" service today. It was very much an incredible service. The man had been sick in the hospital. By all accounts, he was a good man. But, being good won't get you into heaven. You can't earn your way in. The Bible says in Ephesians 2:8-9, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

Yes, you still have to do good things because your Christ like nature should compel you as well as your knowledge of God's command to love your neighbor as yourself and to walk in love, think in love etc.



Well back to the story...

God sent a woman of God to the hospital to visit the man, and unlike many saints, she didn't think: "I wish I could get this man to church, or to Pastor So and So or to Sister "Prayright." But, she realized that God wants to add to His family and so she went in to give the man a choice to make a decision that5 would effect him forevermore!

This man willingly decided to choose Christ and as a result at his services today, we celebrated for he will have eternal life!

No one remembers this woman, she isn't famous. But you better believe because she does what is first and foremost in God's heart that in heaven she will be among those who will be first.

God will ask you how many souls you have saved! Oh, c'mon, He will ask you, but what will your answer be?

IT'S TIME TO MAKE A CHOICE...

It's time to decide; time has run out. You are facing your eternity. It doesn't seem like it, but we all are. Right here today you have to decide if you want SMOKING or NON-SMOKING. Don't laugh. Hell or heaven; which do you want? If not you, what do you want for your family? It's high time for you to step out of your comfort zone and say the sinner's prayer for yourself or to pray it with your loved ones. I hate to be so direct but beating around the bush doesn't work. I tried it for years, no can do anymore.



A SINNERS PRAYER

Lord, I know that I've done a lot of wrong things. Maybe they were to myself or to other people but I am sorry Lord and I ask for Your forgiveness. I also know that these sins have kept me from being close to you. So please help me to keep from sinning again. I believe in your son Jesus Christ, that he died for me and carried my sins for me, that they put him in a grave and that on the third day he arose and is alive right now. I'm asking you Lord Jesus to come into my heart right now and to be the master of my life. I accept you as my personal Lord and Savior and I am right now born again. Amen


Now that you (or your loved ones) have said the sinners prayer; I ask you to get into a Bible based church where the Word of God is taught. You can be a "believer" but that won't get you a breakthrough. If you'll look at the definitions above; you'll see that Breakthrough literally means the appearance of a light to help you achieve your purpose.

Certainly this is related to the frenzy amongst believers to find out what their purpose is or to find out what God's plan for their lives is.

YOU JUST NEED A BREAKTHROUGH ON SOMETHING LIKE: HEALING, PEACE, SOMETHING ON YOUR HEART, A SITUATION, YOUR FINANCES, OR YOUR ABILITY TO MANAGE YOUR FINANCES, YOUR PROCRASTINATION, DIRECTION, GUIDANCE, AN IDEA THAT KEEPS COMING UP, THE LIGHT BILL...

PUT YOUR FAITH ON IT.

I am not trying to get deep here. No, not at all.

However, faith is a good position to be in if you need a breakthrough.

YOU HAVE TO DO THIS BY YOURSELF

HOW OLD ARE YOU? REALLY, HOW OLD ARE YOU? WOULD YOU SAY THAT YOU'RE OLD ENOUGH TO KNOW MOST THINGS? WELL, IF YOU'RE WISE WITH LOTS OF EXPERIENCE YOU HAVE TO KNOW THAT GOD IS REAL.

I CAN'T TELL YOU. MOST PEOPLE WILL NOT TAKE MY WORD FOR IT. THEY HAVE TO FIND OUT FOR THEMSELVES.

I FOUND OUT FOR MYSELF WHEN I WAS TEN YEARS OLD. I CAN NAME PEOPLE ALL AROUND ME WHO DIDN"T AND I KEEP WONDERING; HOW DID I FIGURE IT OUT AND PEOPLE I LOVE COULDN'T AND STILL DON'T.


MY DEAR FRIEND LILLIE TOLD ME THAT SHE FOUND OUT THAT GOD WAS REAL BACK IN THE THIRTIES (1930'S) DURING THE DEPRESSION. THEY WERE VERY POOR AND HAD NO MONEY FOR LUNCH FOR SHE AND HER SISTER. SHE WAS ABOUT 12 YEARS OLD. SHE WENT HOME FEELING VERY DISCOURAGED AND GOT ON HER KNEES AND PRAYED TO GOD ASKING FOR A MIRACLE. SHE DIDN'T ASK FOR MONEY. SHE ASKED IF GOD COULD PUT SHE AND HER SISTERS NAME ON THE LIST SO THAT THEY COULD GET A FREE LUNCH.


THE NEXT DAY IT WAS.


I HAD SIMILAR EXPERIENCES AS A CHILD. GOD GAVE ME VICTORY EVERY SINGLE TIME! I KNOW HE'S REAL. I FOUND OUT FOR MYSELF.

Many people believe in God. They just don't want His rules. They don't mind His Blessings or His answering their prayers or "wishes." Be careful not to leave your faith behind when you go online. You're going to need it!

They want to keep Him on the back burner.

Even a lot of Christians.

So the question is: IS GOD ON THE INTERNET?

The answer is simple: THAT DEPENDS ON YOU.

If the Spirit of the Lord is placed inside of every believer; then when you get on the Internet; God does too.

As for the non believers the bible says:

But even if our Gospel (the glad tidings) also be hidden (obscured and covered up with a veil that hinders the knowledge of God), it is hidden [only] to those who are perishing and obscured [only] to those who are spiritually dying and veiled [only] to those who are lost. WHAT ARE YOU USING?

I was riding down the street this morning. It was six a.m., as I drove slowly past the parking lot where my prayer brother (who's like a son to me); Brother Jerry parks his truck. I looked to my left to see if it was there. It was there. Frustrated; that's when I decided to use. Use my faith that is.

I called the devil every name in the book. The bible. You are a liar, you're a thief! But not today will you be stealing anything! Brother Jerry will be at prayer TODAY! He won't be too sleepy or too tired to get up and cover the earth with prayer and to pray for himself, his family, his friends and strangers.

I yelled: YOU WILL LOOSE HIM AND LET HIM GO! IN THE AUTHORITY OF JESUS. SO BE IT!

Now, that was better.

Satan tried another approach..he sent thoughts, doubt that after all that Brother Jerry wasn't coming to prayer. I laughed and reminded him that I have a promise from God, an agreement that I get what I say if-if it's in accordance with the Word if God.

Guess what Matthew 9:29 says in the Amplified Bible?

It says: Then He touched their eyes, saying, According to your faith and trust and reliance [on the power invested in Me] be it done to you;

I went on to Early Prayer and forgot about it.

Brother Jerry walked in prayer 10 minutes later. He told me: "Today, I just had this URGENCY to get here." I laughed and jumped right there on the spot. Victory!


NOW, I"LL TELL YOU THAT I"M ALWAYS USING! IT"S MY CHOICE! I U...SE EVERYWHERE I GO AND ALL THE TIME. FOR BIG DEALS OR LITTLE DEALS...I USE... FAITH

PEOPLE ARE LOSING HOUSES AND EQUITY LIKE NEVER BEFORE!

You know the media kept saying that the Real Estate market was going to have a crisis. In fact, I’ve seen the articles for ten years. They just kept saying it over and over. Now I may let something get past me 1 time; but not twice.

SOMETHING IN MY SPIRIT MADE ME KNOW THAT THIS WAS TRUE. I BEGAN TO PREPARE FOR IT.

I immediately began to try to find ways to pay off my house faster. I “elected” not to move and get in more debt than I could handle. I paid my bills on time even when it “looked” like I shouldn't’t do it.

I became more prudent about spending. I cut back.

Other people heard this too. Maybe you did. It hit; just like they said it was. People lost houses and prices fell . I was ready for it, what about you?


Now the bible and people of authority in God’s eyesight keep saying: JESUS IS COMING BACK.

SOMETHING IN MY SPIRIT MAKES ME KNOW THIS IS TRUE.

I’m preparing for it; in fact, I’m telling you about it so you can be prepared!

I go out on the streets and talk to people. Mostly it's about prayer. I approach lots of people and 99.9% of the people have wanted prayer. We pray because we want to communicate to God our needs. He said in His word that if you believe that you receive when you ask for it; you'll get what you need.

So I'm asking you what do you need faith for?

Not what "thing" do you need, but what do you __________ (YOUR NAME) need faith for?


THE ANSWER IS:

You need faith (OR THE ABILITY TO BELIEVE THAT WHICH YOU CANNOT SEE) to get what you need.


IT"S NOT ROCKET SCIENCE ...AND THERE IS SOME FINE PRINT IN THIS CONTRACT; WE'LL TALK ABOUT THAT TOMORROW! HAVE A GREAT DAY!
